Currently residing in Lisbon, the city he was born in, Paulo Teixeira is a sociologist with more than twenty years of experience working in the field of social intervention in Portugal and Internationally.

A social entrepreneur, he founded Logframe – Consultancy and Training Ltd., a company operating in the social sector that defines its mission, along with its clients', as the creation of social impact.

Paulo became interested in social issues at a young age, long before he would consider it as a field of work, and since then he has been involved in various organisations and pro- jects that have worked to alleviate or resolve social problems.

He is an experienced consultant and educator/trainer, working regularly with prestigious organisations such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The European Commission, the Portuguese High Commission for Migration (ACM), the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN- Portugal), the Institute for Applied Psychology (ISPA, Lisbon), Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV), the Portuguese Committee for UNICEF, among others.

Besides his dedication to working for change and social impact, he has a passion for photography that began in his youth and was encouraged by his mother, a fan of art photography. He has had a camera in his hands from a young age whilst he dedicated himself to photographing everything and everyone and to develop his own “photo projects”.

His natural curiosity and desire to learn drove him initially to discover the art of photography by himself. Later, he participated in photography courses and specialised work- shops. He continues to deepen his knowledge in this area, daily.

The desire to bring his professional experience and sensitivity for social themes together with his passion for photography led to the formation of the Humane Focus project.
